Now Playing: Whip by Lyri (Sunday Morning Special)

Wut Da Fux Up?
Intro: Lyri came across the table as a "female spitter". Big deal to our crew because that rare breed is just one thing we always look for. We discovered her from the "Phoenix" mixtape, and pretty much been on the wave since then... The bars are strong, her look is nice (even though she doesn't have many photos on the web #BossShhh) we want more and more. BUT the music supply makes up for all the other BS that's tied to music. Straight from the DMV - She's a VA artists that we've placed right on our radar, and you should too. Considering she's yet to disappoint, and EVERY SUNDAY she's dropping a new track, it's the SUNDAY MORNING SPECIAL! Be on the look out, she's an LRMNPC Top 5 Fan Favorite! She's Featured on Heaterz with the song "Again", so obviously with LRMNPC fans, her name rings bells!
Critics Review: If songs like "JackBoy" and "Whip" is all we had to offer from Lyri, I'm sure you'd be itching for more. The mixtape "Phoenix" pretty much smashes the shit out of a long list of drops this year, it's just short as hell, 6 track EP type stuff. Some artist get buzz from weird reasons other than music, with Lyri, it's all on the music, and she's killing it. Her lyrics are strong, her points get made easily, and she knows she's dope. Lyri has a confident delivery and that holds the most weight with her music, 2nd would be her content, she's not flapping her grill about her worldly possessions, just real rap, real life, and relevant AF! Yet, like one of her rap influences Juelz Santana - For our generation - "She's what the games been missing"...
